he Aerodynamic lead design engineer is responsible for all aerodynamic design activities linked to centrifugal compressors developments including cycle modeling, thermodynamic selection, 1D sizing, 2D and 3D detailed design. Essential Responsibilities The Aerodynamic lead design engineer will: Perform centrifugal compressor components aerodynamic design in the framework of NPI programs; Support Requisition team in analysis linked to thermodynamic performance validation and root cause analysis; Participate to aero tools testing and validation; Work in close contact with mechanical and manufacturing teams to determine best compromise for new products; Document technical data generated by the assigned project consistent with engineering policies and procedures; Develop practical and innovative ways to identify and meet goals; Execute project with emphasis on quality and on-time delivery. Qualifications/Requirements Master in Mechanical, Thermal or Aeronautical Engineering; At least 3 additional years of experience in turbomachinery design; Experience in CFD codes; Demonstrated project leadership experience, including successful track record of completing deliverables on schedule and under budget; EU Work Permit.
